Ideas, suggestions, understanding of my animals

Postby raveighen » 20 Jun 2011, 21:17

I have several animals that surround me often. I always greet this with love and respect for I love them all.

I have a large red dragon that always nuzzles me and takes me under his wing and I feel safe and protected.

I have a phoenix that comes to me, I pet his beak and if I'm hurting inside he cries on me helping to ease the pain.

I always, always find a small hedgehog, called my little warrior, in my pocket licking my hand.

I often find a horse, wolf, badger and recently a stag has entered into my circle. I sit in my grove and pet and love them all and listen to their words of support and strength. Could someone enlighten me more on these wonderful creatures?
Blessings,

Hmmm many cultures have taken different views of these - so perhaps you need to meditate on why you are called to them and vice versa...

Here's some links to help you :
http://www.theserenedragon.net/dragonschart.html Dragon stuff
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_%28mythology%29 the Phoenix
http://www.wildwoodtrust.org/files/ks2- ... egends.pdf has some stuff on badgers
http://wiki.hedgehogcentral.com/tiki-in ... nd+Legends hedgepig stuff - recent studies have shown that Badgers and Hedgehogs don't share the same environment too well.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_hors ... thology%29 White Horse mythology (this being a Druidic place).

Thank you for responding. I know what most of my animals do for me, there are only a few I do not truly get their point yet and that is the bear and the deer.

I appreciate you taking the time to go to these locations and setting them up for me I have checked them out and they are good sources of information. A heart-felt thank you.
Blessings,
