can I take magician? (if it's not too late)
You gain wisdom by talking with stars,
but to see them you need deep dark.

ok i have lost it!! :gloomy:
What ever little bit of creative talent i had just went out of the window!!

When i picked The Wheel of Fortune to do , i was thinking it would be easy!!
loads of ideas, inside my head!!
Then had to put ideas on to paper and ...........nothing.... gone...
started to do some doodles......

This one is the daftest doodle yet.....haha

Dont know where this silly idea came or what goes on in my head sometimes!!!!!
A wheel rolling down a bloody hill!!!!!
Will try better...
I wanted my Wheel to have a bit of a wow factor, not a blood flat tyre!!!!!

Actually, I like it a lot. It is profound in its simplicity that the wheel keeps rolling down the hill.

Blackbird, I LOVE IT!

Sometimes in all this druidry lark we forget that we are nature, and what we create is nature, and so sitting here typing at a screen is PART of nature, not outside of it. Although Frogs Devil card can highlight that we can have too much of a good thing lol

Bringing modernity into tarot is what keeps it fresh and alive, new perspectives and .. well I love it :) Like in one deck (brain doesnt remember without second cup of tea) the Chariot is a guy in a formula one racing car and i loved that idea too.

Its sparked a couple of thoughts in me :)

There's something I need to say.
I hope it doesn't cheese people off.
Looking at the majors I think a real strength is the diversity of the artwork, and although I am really happy that some people have offered more than one card I think it detracts a bit when two cards are in a very similar style, as though they had been designed with continuity in mind. What do other people involved in the tarot creation think?

MamaB - putting her neck on the line - open to discussion - not wanting to offend, and all that.

Hi Baobab
As someone who has put two cards in so far (with a third planned) - I can see what you mean (being guilty of this). I suppose the only way round this would be to limit how many cards anyone could submit.

For myself, this could be a springboard (with a very long, slow bounce!) to producing a Tarot set for myself - and using the standard developed would enable me to focus a little less on some of the more minor aspects and just the card itself.

However, I need to apologise to you all - I have been neglecting my promise to do the hanged man. If it's not already been done (and doesn't seem to be) I'll try and direct my attention to it. I've just had an idea of how I could do this (which will be a test of my sense of perspective) I just need to get the pens out and start work.

I finally managed to complete the hanged man - apologies for the delay.
As noted before, the size, border etc is the same as my previous submissions- the devil and justice - and that's because I have used the same template as a standard.
