Hello all. If it is not a rude question, is there anything left to be designed? If there is I'll throw my lot in and join this bandwagon of artistic creativity. :D
Nice work one and all
Bright Blessings

I've finished my card Strength and I've posted it over in the majors thread. I've posted a small version, but I still have it in 10x8 size on my hard drive if it's needed later.
I really enjoyed working on this card. The finished design is nothing like my original ideas! I love how pictures develop and change as you work on them, as if they're taking on a life of their own. I also enjoyed getting to know the card better. As I explored different aspects of it I became more aware of how it resonates with aspects of other cards.

Thanks for organising this Alijay!

Hi Jason,
I think the Emperor may still be available and perhaps the Fool.
Alijay started this thread and is the 'one who knows for sure'. When she comes online I'm sure she'll be glad to add you in!
The deadline was the first week in December, but there'll probably be an extension for late starters!
And welcome to the board! :rainbow: :yay:

Hi Everyone!
I just wondered what was happening with this. It's all gone a bit quiet, and now the festive season is over maybe we should be making a start again?
Best wishes

I won't feel insulted if someone really wants to do Death. I am still planning on doing it but at the moment, just feel overwhelmed by life so am not sure I will get to it this week.

Iam going to put up the minors in the next week or so, Think we will do it in the way that has been mentioned

There's something I need to say.
I hope it doesn't cheese people off.
Looking at the majors I think a real strength is the diversity of the artwork, and although I am really happy that some people have offered more than one card I think it detracts a bit when two cards are in a very similar style, as though they had been designed with continuity in mind. What do other people involved in the tarot creation think?

Sorry, Baobab, looks like we were posting at the same time!

I guess it doesn't bother me that some of the cards are in similar styles because there is so much variety overall. I also think that from a practical standpoint, having all the same number of minor cards being done by the same person creates a mental link to the significance of the number, in addition to the significance of the suit.

I also think there's a question of being able to get everyone to submit their work. I've done submission-based projects in the past and invariably it ends up being a core group of people carrying the bulk of the work, which usually means some folk contributing more than others--even when variety is the goal.

Just my two cents!

Good points all, Snaegl.
If you're doing the Aces then I bagsy the 10s, if that's ok. I'm easy though.

Looking forward to the card, Badger Bob.
