Hi, Lunarliz, if you want to learn how to make stained glass, look at your local evening class schedule provided by the county or possibly the WEA. I'm not familiar with the setup in Pembrokeshire, but a few years ago, Buckinghamshire where I live hired tutors to teach craft classes in the afternoons and evenings and I went to an excellent set of classes held once a week for a term in my local Secondary school. We made several pieces and got lots of advice. The charges were reasonable but I don't know if the cutbacks still make this possible! Good luck.Min.
Thank you.

There was a class offered quite near here last summer, but I missed it :-( and it doesn't seem to be on again this year, but I will keep searching and I live in hope! :)

I'm still tatting, I make jewellery and accessories with it and have also just started making homewares with it. I'm currently on making a huge black lace wall clock.
I also have started making lucet cords.

I would like to learn crochet next, got a bit of a yarn addiction going on lol !

And Mystical Journey, woodworking is DEFINITELY crafty ! I would love to learn how to make the things you do. No time, space or money at the minute tho.

I do all sorts of stuff, but not really well.

Things I do,
Painting and drawing,
modelling with clay,
Fancy wood covered tins,
Walking sticks,
Flint arrowheads, for a pastime a few years ago. As quick as I made a few and gave them to a friend I was making more for him as his previous ones were magically disappearing.
Teddy bear making,
lots of small odd's and ends. Anything to pass the time.

would like to learn,
to draw and paint better,
fancied trying stained glass work,
jewelry making with gold and silver.
stone carving.

I do the odd bit of wand making
I used to make shamanic drums until it became too expensive to have materials sent to me and the finished drums sent out to customers
I paint watercolours if that counts although it's not exactly a craft
I make flower essences, tinctures, herb mixes but only for my own use
I do a little pyrography

In the past I made soft toys, candles, jewellery .....I think one craft leads to another always. I also used to knit, oh and do glass engraving

I would like to make shamanic rattles as I have hide left from the drums, just need to get myself organised
I would love to make my own singing bowl
I would like to be able to create mandalas

Think that's about it

It's often a joke among my friends that I collect hobbies. I'll try to remember all of the ones that I do but I may have to come back to it. I just love the idea of taking something basic and making something beautiful, useful or both out of it. Here goes:

Nalbinding
Basic knitting
Basic hand sewing
A few varieties of braiding
Spinning (on a drop spindle)
Basic weaving
Coil basketry (looking for a good use for all those toxic disposable plastic bags gave me the idea to learn it)
Basic stock removal knife making
Very basic blacksmithing
Simple wire wrap jewelry making
Beading
Tablet weaving
Baking (my beer bread is famous among friends, as are my beer bread cakes)
Cross stitch (my other half is a cross stitch designer)
Book binding
Tie dying
Wand making
Staff making
Green wood carving (I really should practice it more though)
Basic bowyery (with basic arrow craft)
Creative writing (at the risk of cliche I'm working on a novel. I've also had a couple of poems published in anthologies which remains one of my proudest achievements)
Bushcraft (the more "Ray Mears, survivalist, custodian of nature" sort as opposed to the more "Bear Grylls, sensationalist, look at this beautiful place and watch me eat this thing that's still alive because I like shock value and don't really care about nature" kind)
And according to my other half I create a superb reading nest.

I'm sure I've forgotten something.

What do I want to learn? Now that list could get really long, so I'll just give the craftsman without a cause answer and say "What'd'ya got?"
If at first you don't succeed, I hope it wasn't brain surgery.

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

There are numerous spinning guilds in your area ,that would be only too pleased to teach you spindle spinning and basic knitting and weaving ,try the local press for information or maybe the local Library has a list of local associations.

Well, I do wire wrapping for jewelry, I make wooden Ogham staves and Runic sets, altar tiles, etc... even tried my hand at decorating wooden boxes for people for Yule/Christmas this year. I do a little sewing but not much... Working on my crane bag right now. writing poetry and stories. I've created some logos and tatoos for people.

I'm always up for learning new things... Not sure what that would be at the moment.. I tend to come upon things, learn them and then move on.

And as I look down I see I answered this about a year and a half ago... See, my craftiness has grown!

I can make hand-crafted books.

I've been experimenting with making them with leather covers, with an exterior layer of cloth with embroidery on it.

Learning emroidery for me is more challenging than actually building a sturdy book by itself.

I am looking into learning Sashiko.

I like doing crafts and hobbies and have many creative activities enjoy :) things in random order: cross stitch, embroidery, needlework, handsewing, beadwork, jewelry making, coloring, pastels, collage, art journaling, pagan scrapbooking, gardening, herbs, making things from herbs like herbal sachets, herbals baths mixes etc. , making scented vinegars for all sorts,
aromatherapy, making tinctures & perfumes for personal use, hand quilting, water colour, simple wirework, foraging, ATC cards, cardmaking, drawing, calligraphy, making loose incense blends, making bathsalts for personal use,
cooking from several countries, sometimes baking, making candles and sometimes enhancing shop bought candles with herbs and oils,etc............ I am sure I forgot a few hobbies in this list......
I tend to switch between hobbies and like the variety.November last year I started keeping a list of what I made etc. This year I had the flu so several weeks no crafts.

January: a few art journal pages, 1 handsewn pillowcase, 2 crochet wash cloths for the bathroom, made 2 incense blends and 4 herbals vinegars then I got the flu................ :-( :-(
February: making 2 handquilted mugrugs, a little sewing/applique on a small wallhanging, 1 card, :) starting another handsewn pilowcase today.

I don't know it all in English.. so... I only can say, .. I try to craft/make all things I need for my family , house and garden.
Things I can't buy or don't like to buy.

And I would like to learn all the other crafts I haven't learned until now. ;-)
