Like or not? I haven't had a camera for a long while now and just use my iPhone for snaps. But today I took a couple of pics that I actually really love and posted one on Facebook that folk seemed surprised was taken on a phone. I attach it here for opinions :-) I had been going to enter it into the Eistedfodd, but decided it contained too much of the built environment...

Its lovely! Surely its the result that matters, and the eye that saw the picture to be taken, not the machinery used to capture it.
I love the "angel" figures in the clouds at the top, and the way the silvery light shines off the bridge.
I suppose you could crop out some of the buildings if you really disliked them.
My only problem is how to view the whole picture at one time, I don't know if that is a board thing,my computer or my ignorance!

This is an amazing photo. I'd be happy to take something like this however I took it. Love it!

That's great! I love all the contrast of light...
And the fact you can't view the whole thing at once is a board thing, Oakapple.

Interesting picture! I love the clouds and the sky! :)
My only problem is how to view the whole picture at one time,
Just click on the image and it should open in full size.

I just found out by chance!
Because the cursor doesn't change its shape when you place it over the image it's not obvious. But clicking does the trick! :)

A very nice picture :)

I love camera snaps. I take them all of the time out on hikes, and I think they get more "real" if you know what I mean. Like a diary entry, only in pictures. I am probably more interested in the motifs than in the technical quality, anyway, but this one was really great :)
