Sleeping dragon

Postby ShadowCat » 28 Jan 2014, 15:34

In my bardic journal I rediscovered a sketch I made in Glastonbury last year, while pondering the outline of the Tor.
I like it more now as when I finished it then. The dot and halfmoon are part of a drawing on the other side of the page, so please ignore those.

Love to hear your comments. Constructive criticism welcome!

the whisper of the wind through the leaves
the songs of one's heart

Thank you Alwin, Aphritha...

It's funny that you call say "she" Aphritha. I didn't intent on drawing a girly dragon, it just turned out the way it is

No offense intended but she looks just like one of my llamas when she sleeps (if the llama had wings and a long tail). She looks like she is dreaming of something wonderful.

Crinia... absolutely none taken!

When I walk out of my home, I see the pasture where my neighbour keeps his animals. Among them roam three alpaca's, and before them he had two llama's, so I might have picked some of their features. I always have to try hard to not draw my dragon's with horses' heads (due to drawing whole herds of horses and ponys as a girl) so I might - subconsciously - have gone with something else that is slightly familiair.
