Beauty in a puddle

Postby Màiri » 03 Mar 2016, 18:15

Hi y'all

my name is Màiri and I am new here - joined in December last year.
I wrote to my mentor today and among other things I sent him my first try of a triad where a puddle is mentioned (hope I spelled it right and did not write poodle - typical German mistake ;-)

I like photography a lot and so I'll give it a try and show this pic of a puddle reflecting birchtrees

And you spelled it perfectly :D (Keep in mind I am American and therefore may not know how to spell :-) )

However a Poodle in a Puddle would be quite darling. :)

Cheers,

Hi Michael,

I like your sense of humor !

And this thing turns out to be somehow inspiring.
Ok, all grammar aside:

Once upon a time there was a poodle
who wanted to bath in a puddle
since he could not swim and his legs were too short
he looked for support
so the poodle asked a sheep to bring him a noodle
but the sheep shook its head
since it was not yet fed
hungry as it was it let off the grass
and became slightly moody
so the sheep asked the poodle to do without the noodle and go around the puddle.

This was not the poodles wish
and so he offered the sheep a dish
as soon as he'd had his bath
he would lead the sheep down the path
to his house where they could mumble
homemade apple crumble.

Sunny Sunday morning greetings,
Màiri :tea:

You know - if you put this in Limerick Form, you could have something.

Yes, you are right ! I thought about it, too but this is still a hard nut to crack for me. :block:
I would like to give it a try, or two ...
