Native American flute

Postby PipingDruid » 12 Oct 2016, 16:09

Hello everyone, I have purchased a few months back a Native American flute in the key of F#, I have always loved the sound of one, they have such a haunting melody. I used to play Tenor Sax in high school, and still have one but it is a bit on the large size to pack around especially to festivals and meditation spots this flute is much more, "packable" if you will let me use that term. Enjoying learning how to play it, like to use it as a meditation tool much like my singing bowl.

"packable" is an excellent term! I also love the Native American Flute and very much look forward to hearing you play yours. Perhaps you might consider an entry in the OBOD Eisteddfod Music section?

Be careful, I have found that they tend to multiply. Even now I can hear them whispering that I need one in F#.

I purchased mine from http://www.bluebearflutes.com/
Charlie is an excellent craftsman and will do custom flutes and tunings for you if requested. Mine is a GMaj 432hz tuned 5-hole and I plan on getting some more as soon as I can for my studio work.
