Where to buy a Celtic Harp?

Postby Helen O'Cobhthaigh » 09 May 2016, 13:01

Any suggestions on where to purchase Celtic Harp? Any chance I'd find one in Australia?

Hi Helen

There used to be a lot of excellent advice in this Forum on buying Harps which sadly now is lost. The only point I recall was the advice to avoid cheap imported harps unless you are a novice with only a passing interest in learning the harp. I did a quick Google and there certainly seems to be a number of Harp makers in Australia but I cannot comment on the quality of such instruments. I did find this which seems to offer some good common-sense advice although clearly USA related:
