W00T! W00T!! W00T!!!

Hello my darlings, my loves, my hamburgers! I've missed you all terribly. Life got very complicated there in late August, and reached critical mass in mid-September... lack of home 'puter access has been awful, but the least onerous of my recent problems. I won't bore you with the details; suffice it to say that we are safe and happy in our new home, some miles from the Stepford community we had been trying to fit into without success. Don't think I haven't been thinking about you all, though-- wishing you a very late but spectacularly blessed Mabon/Ostara (and thinking
a lot lately about balance in my life, and the lack thereof...).
Anyway... where was I? Oh, yes-- blithering. I tend to do that. I see my personal upheaval ccoincided with some radical changes here too. <looks around dubiously> To be honest, I'm not sure I like the look.. I miss my lovely calm green surroundings. But I suppose one can get used to anything...
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the birthday greetings! I confess, I was feeling a bit low in the days leading up to it. Oak fnally made good on a twelve-year-old promise to take me to Maine for the fall colours-- lovely indeed, but the post-trip letdown was surprising at least. Now I've got my 'puter back-- it's still a bit of a Rube Goldberg; I'm sitting on my son's bedroom floor with the keyboard on his bed; this is the only functional phone jack in the place-- but I've found my way back to my favourite pub, and myself in dire need of a W00T and a drink!
