For the one Cherry tree on the avenue of Cherry trees that this year sprouted cherry fruits, albeit green cherries that will never ripen. The sun has been kind to Ireland of late though the familiar rain Gods are back for a wee while.

I've returned from the International Druid Camp in Winterswijk yesterday... I'm so grateful for having met friends, old and new, the balmy weather with a few refreshing droplets and the many insights and experiences that are still settling down somewhere in my core...

Each day I see the nature in Germany. You can nearly see the grass is growing.
Every year I hope to see the nutrition of mother earth like this and pray, that this will last forever.

Ivy

P.S. First of all sorry for my English. It is maybe full of spelling mistakes

After a bit of a silly day, my cat came and sat on my lap earlier and put his little head on my chest, looking up at me. I'm thankful for my animals today. They know us better than we think.

I am thankful that I can communicate with people from all over the world. I am not a native speaker but I am thankful that I have had the possibility to learn foreign languages.

I am thankful that I survived the night unscathed. I was awakened by a terrible thunderstorm. Storms don't normally bother me but this one was something else. Ferocious lightning and thunderclaps to deafen. Flooding too. More due later this evening and tonight,

I'm thankful for the Order, and all the marvelous, interesting folk I've met through it. Waiting for my first Ovate packet to arrive, enjoying this time between grades.

I'm very thankful for the messages I have been getting from the universe, confirmations that I am on the right track. Thankful for a changes in perspective and the tearing down of barriers. Soooo thankful in seeing the good vibes being reflected back to me from where I left them! Thankful for being able to make the decisions I have made, even if others don't understand, and not worrying about it when they don't have opinions on the matters. :cloud9: :daisy:

I'm thankful to be able to experience life despite chronic illness. Thankful for walking meditations, the local wildlife, and great friends.

To-day I'm thankful for people being surprisingly understanding of my problems; for not getting an allergic reaction when whatever that was stung me; and for the local fae folk. :rose:

Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings

I am thankful for the fact that despite an "Annis horribilus " of a year last year, still not brilliant this year, I am still able to look on the bright side, enjoy my life as best as I can, and continue to hope for better times to come.

I've returned from a week long holiday in Nothern Germany, having been blessed with sun and rain, and a healthy dose of seawater (taking a 1000 hp speedboat trip will do that), long hikes that reminded me not to take my regained health for granted, and good food and beer. Then to come home to a home with wellcared (and overly wellfed) animals, plants and no dust anywhere, since my elderly parents volunteered to drive 100 km each day to take care of my home, is a great gift.

Sounds like you had a great time Shadowcat - I am thankful for a week long holiday in North Cornwall with great friends and despite my youthful efforts to live fast & die young I've managed to reach the age where I can join the Sage & Crones forum :o

I am just thankful for the good people I have around me who help me through tough times and do not judge me, having been through a terrible migraine, where I thought my head would explode, my family piled in and looked after me. As 'mum' I always thought it my duty to hold things together but they were amazing. Thank you lovely family. xxx

Crystal Cat as a fellow sufferer you have my sympathies. I have had them since childhood. That said, although I say it myself, I have done so much research on Migraine over the years, I now consider myself to be a bit of an authority on the subject, particularly with regard to food triggers. If you want to pm me anytime to discuss, please feel free.

what I am thankful for today is that I am alive for another day and have a great day to look forward to tomorrow, when I do my weekly volunteer gardening day in the woodland gardens at one of the Royal Parks, Bushy Park, which is opposite Hampton Court Palace.

Today I am thankful for friends, a good book, and taking my hiking boots off after an eventful, but long, day. :)
