S4C Digidol

Postby Badger Bob » 10 May 2006, 20:00

For anyone in the UK with Sky TV, if you find S4C Digidol on the Entertainment section (about four pages down - i'll see if I can find the channel number) there is a half hour slot each day dedicated to learners. It's called Dysgu am 12 (learning at 12), unfortunately it is on at midday but has gems like Welsh in a Week that can help with pronunciation no end!

Hi Bob and others

Also most programmes have subtitles in English which is worth knowing.
A good drama at the moment is Con Passionate, about the lives (and loves) of a Welsh Male Voice Choir.
You'll also hear how much English is used even when speaking Welsh!
:)
