Welsh dictionary, grammar and language learning links

Postby Beith » 15 Jun 2009, 02:58

Hi,

I thought this might be useful for anyone learning Welsh or interested in doing so, or seeking dictionary references:

http://www.lexilogos.com/english/welsh_dictionary.htm

It includes many links to other websites, online learning tools, reference information - grammar, dictionaries, pronunciation guidelines, keyboard tools, etc; plus links to free online texts and digitized journals.

Best regards
Beith

Also try the BBC's Big Welsh Challenge, it's excellent for people new to the language.

Two dictionary apps:
Ap Geiriaduron
GPC Geiriadur Welsh Dictionary
.
“For nothing here should be taken to mean that we are merely researching the past. To find the sounder wisdom of the past and to train our powers in the present by it safely, then to use them intelligently and with the right motives, that is the object of a modern Bard and Ovate.” —Ross Nichols, The Book of Druidry
