Audio stories on the internet

Postby Aphritha » 25 Jul 2012, 17:17

Does anyone know of any good audio version of myths that can be accessed online? My son and I enjoy listening to the stories while we do other things around the house, but I'm really having trouble finding many. He's 6 and likes stories about Zeus, while I like myths from all cultures. :D

Oh, I love the Celtic Myth Podshow!
There are enough for you to go back & download to keep you & the little one happy for a good long time :D And then there are all of the new ones to look forward to.
I'm sure there are others as well. A quick search on Google or iTunes should turn them up.

Thank you very much! Its an interesting show. Listening to it as I write...thank you for sharing it!
I was having a heck of a time with google...all it brought up were things you had to pay for...I'm too broke for that business.

If you have access to iTunes there is a podcast of stories for kids called Storynory which is free.
I noticed there's even a story about Thor. He may not be Zeus but he's got those cool lightening bolts too! :D

To be honest I'm not really sure what itunes is....I may be young but I'm technologically old.
