My funny and sweet father-in-law

Postby Brân Gannaid » 19 Apr 2014, 06:56

My husband and I were with him at the hospital until late in the evening, and we learned that shortly after we left, he crossed over. He was silly and fun and an all-round good human being. I really loved him, and I'll miss him. I'm just focusing on being there for my husband as we go through the aftermath together. Peace and comfort to you, Dad.

He sounds like my late father-in-law, and I still miss him.

Blessings upon him, and upon you and your husband.
May the long time sun shine upon you,
All love surround you,
And the pure light within you,
Guide your way on.

Best wishes for your dad-in-law and your family...

Releasing loved ones is always hard, but in both laughter and tears can release be found..
Three sounds one should treasure:
the whisper of the wind through the leaves
the songs of one's heart
the callings of the universe

Whitemane and Reuils,

It is truly a blessing to have wonderful in-laws. We still have my mom, who will be 97 this year! It's a comfort to walk among the trees and flowers, and know the ancestors are with us always.
