I would advise caution about people making claims about commercial 'herbal' products, as from my (reasonably extensive) knowledge of herbal medications, and the history of their usage before the chemical/commercial era, these are often primarily attempting to deceive with trappings of 'science'. Herbs need to picked fresh to keep their chemical potency, and need to have a connection to the land and environment of the 'patient' to have a 'spirit' connection that also facilitates healing... It might be worth considering that mass-produced, packaged herbal 'remedies' might be no better than Big Pharma products, especially in the moral sense!

Speaking as a professional herbalist, I'd agree. Those pre-packaged remedies are usually dubious, preying on desperation to make money. Such a shame. I'm actually surprised to see an article about Indian herbs to help with cancer and no mention of turmeric. It's used in Ayurvedic medicine widely, and there are many scientific studies carried out on it which verify it's usefulness in cancer patients, as an anti-oxidant, cytotoxic and anti-inflammatory. It has indications supported by modern science and traditional use, and yet... no mention of it. How strange...
