Spirit Tree - Urn+Tree Planting

Post by greygreen » 18 Jan 2013, 17:57

I thought if anyone would find this interesting it would be you folks. Using cremated remains to grow a tree in remembrance of a loved one, what a fantastic (and economical!) idea:

Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known. - A.A. Milne

There's quite a few places over here in the U.K. For both inhumation and cremated remains that offer tree based burial, good to see the idea is spreading to Tx :D :
Most dear is fire to the sons of men,
most sweet the sight of the sun;
good is health if one can but keep it,
and to live a life without shame. (Havamal 68)
