Collecting Sprigs of Yew

Postby serendreamer » 11 Oct 2015, 20:29

Hi, not sure if this is the correct forum but can anyone advise me please if I need to use precautions in collecting sprigs of Yew for use in ritual - should I wrap the stem in tin foil or similar to prevent direct contact with skin or is there no need to do this?

Hi serendreamer,
yew is indeed toxic, but only if ingested. Cutting or holding twigs of it won't hurt you. :warm:
