New House Purchase

I apologize if this has been brought up before, I tried searching in many different ways and found nothing. My wife and I are closing on our first house this Wednesday and are very excited! I plan to perform some kind of ceremony thanking the land and house and asking the spirits there to welcome my family and me before we move in. I was wondering if there is also already a ceremony for this, preferably through OBOD, but am open to any Druid, Celtic, or Norse ceremony of this nature. Thank you all very much in advance, and I hope everyone is doing well!

well a Home Blessing is early on in the Bardic Gwersi but we're not able to share in a public space.

As with all these things it's worth searching within Celtic or Norse lore, you could look at the Scottish first footing practice for New Year.
You could also look at a generic modern pagan view here:

Depending where you live, it could be quite easy to smudge the house with burning sage.

If you live in the US, white sage bundles are relatively easy to find in New Age shops, get it smoking and go into every nook and cranny waving the bundle to gently release the smoke and ask for blessings upon the house. You can create your own text, depending upon what you think is important. Remember to go sunwise.

If you have smoke detectors and wandering about with smoking organic matter is not advised, there are smudging sprays available. :)

So sorry I didn't see this post earlier. I did write a "House Blessing" ceremony for a friend last year and am very happy to share it with anyone who would like a copy. Please just PM me here. I also write the 8 annual ceremonies for my Grove and other rite of passage ceremonies so please contact me if I can help. (I create my ceremonies from a wide range of sources and then adapt them as necessary so I claim no originality!).
