World Crisis

Hello everyone,
I have been following the recent events around the world and the Middle East, and I feel I have to make some comments.
We are an order of peace, empathy and caring for our natural world and it's inhabitants. However, I think we also have to be aware and have empathy for our environment.
I spent many years as a photo journalist working in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East I have seen much of man's inhumanity to man, but right now I feel like part of our civilization has regressed back to the Middle Ages.. Thousands of people have been murdered, disposed and tortured in the name of a religion which is inherently peaceful but has been high jacked and corrupted by greed, and misplaced idealism.
I believe it is time for the world powers to come together and find a solution.
I pray everyday for an end to all of the inhumanity. I see moonuments and historical sites being destroyed ecosystems being wiped out and whole societys being systematically destroyed.
It makes me very sad and feeling helpless.
The answers are out there. We just need the courage to implement them.
I turn to the Goddess for answers , but I get the feeling that she is also feeling overwhelmed.
With hope for the future,
Aaron

Every age of history has it's blessings and its curses.....this perspective is one side benefit of working with ancestors and researching one's genealogy. The other thing to remember is that violence and disaster of every sort make headlines and attract attention, whereas good news often not so much. Solar power is becoming comparable to fossil fuel generated power in increasing areas of the world........female genital mutilation is now illegal in Nigeria......etc.....you just have to dig a bit deeper to find it.
