Drum, Rattle & Bells for a 30 minute journey

Postby Explorer » 28 May 2011, 11:46

For those who want to journey...

I played around with my drum a bit and created this 30 minute mp3.
There is a gentle return call about 2 minutes before the end. 3 extra drum beats and an Owl hooting twice (no shock effect).
No talking, no directions, so you can use it for any journey you like. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing, Nico
I've had a quick listen to the beginning and it sounds good. I'm downloading it now and will give it a proper listen when I've got some free time.

nice! did you drum it all, in one go, or did you piece it together using software? ( killer to keep tempo for such a long time!)
bright blessed days, dark sacred nights

if you can't hear it then it worked ;-).
It is 5 tracks in one dimension, and just over a minute in the other dimension. And then a lot of copy/paste. It was just an experiment, otherwise I would have drummed longer than a minute, but it came out nice so I kept it. I used Reaper for it.

The original had 5 more tracks, but I got on my own nerves after a few minutes .

very helpful...I find when I do meditate, I need something like this as a positive replacement for the noises of the world we can;t seem to get away from unless we are deep in the woods. Well done.
