Guess this is one of the lesser known ones? Gooseberry tastes good... but does it really stand on its own? Looks like it would be belong with bramble, no?

Gooseberry is restricted here in the NC Mountains. It is a vector for White Pine Blister Rust, which infects and kills White Pine trees.
