Twig, you still have official status in the event that cosmic nipples strike again. But yes, for now you can take some R&R.
Druidfluid: Congrats on the finished paper, I will make an effort to finish mine at the weekend - only 2000 words to go, that should be doable. As for the inebriation test: I will never be able to leave the pub, as I have never heard of that guy. Not that I think either situation is a punishment
You see, I did this out of love. I had a dream the other night that everyone in my political geography class failed. Because he felt bad, the prof bought us endless rounds of drinks. Took the edge right off the F. I awoke from this dream in utter disappointment.

Anyway, in my book, people who don't know who Kondratiev is are probably better political theorists for it. And I'm not trying to be nice. Kinda like this other guy I read recently who literally argued that "oil has undemocratic properties" as if authoritarianism can be found in its molecule structure . . . the pity was I wasted several hours of perfectly good spring break on that article.

You never know who's going to show up.... Willow, Ghostie -- just a head-poke and they're gone! :-( Glad to hear from Neeltje! You gonna hang around? We're serving great drinks now!

The paper-thingy is always chasing me, but here I am :curtsey:

Does the rowdy bar also serve hot tea?

There you go, but we've only got rooibos or some very old fruit ones that don't taste of much any more.

Druidfluid -- You are supposed to be studying!! What are you doing asking about drinks? We elders have to look after your well-being!! I do so well looking after my own. :-)

MamaB -- Not even some stale Earl Grey to offer Neetje? That's pititful. We must stock the pub with alternative beverages. Smoothies, anyone?

YIKES!! OK, Frenn. We'll be sure it's chilled. And we can keep plenty of it on hand for you. You certainly deserve a bottle of water, at least!

Twyrch, you sly wolf! Good to hear from you.

Glad you are enjoying the new job. That's a real blessing. Life's all about priorities; you just enjoy every minute of every day, ya hear? The Rowdies seem be around whenever. Some magical glue holds this bunch together.

I agree. Since the R0wdy Bar was lacking for alternative beverages, I've gone shopping. We now have several cases of bottled water, :java:, and several flavors of :tea:. There's chamomile to help you relax, green tea to help you wake up, Earl Grey and oolong. I considered getting fruit juice (apple and orange), but since our R0wdy Fitness Program seems to have fallen by the wayside I decided it would be a bit much. :D
Paper's done!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the finished paper. :yay:

Twyrch! Good to see you again, friend. :D

Earl Grey!!

Well THAT'S what I call tea!
If I can remember correctly, the taste of Earl Grey Tea has been described by author Elizabeth George as "The taste of soaking old socks" :-) Don't ask me - I would not know, I am a coffee drinker through and through.... The description has just stuck in my mind, and if I ever try tea, it will certainly not be Earl Grey....

On another note, I managed to finish (hopefully) my literature review project on the reason why trees twist. And it is only 6280 words. Now I need help - any reviewers out there, who would like to learn new things and give me honest (not too honest) feedback? If you are willing, drop me a PM, and I will provide you with a copy of my wonderful essay.
Please help..... :where:

I'll bet that Slim Whitman ditty is right from your very own collection, right MamaB? YOU-oo-ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo.

pangurban -- a resident white cat would really bring up the tone of this place. What's his/her name? Is s/he a good ratter? I'm sure we have plenty to keep him/her company! No, I don't know the gender of the rats.
