Pagans with disabilities - Beltane online Festival

Postby malcolmb » 27 Apr 2016, 11:52

Some of you may have heard about this on Facebook but for those who have not, I hope you will applaud this initiative by the Pagan Federation and join in:

"The Pagan Federation (England and Wales) Disabilities Team invites you all to join us for this online festival.

Here at the Pagan Federation we're trying to combat the loneliness and isolation that the disabled in our community feel. Too large a number of our brothers and sisters are finding it increasingly difficult to make it to moots and events. So, we've decided that if we can't take them to the gatherings, we'll bring the gatherings to them.

Here's how we do it:

Through the week (1st May - 8th May) we're going to open up this event for one and all to come, talk and share pictures of any events they've been to or any solitary or small group celebrations or rituals that have been going on to honour the day and the Gods.

If you are going to a group gathering we would love it if you could light a candle or raise a glass (or anything you feel appropriate) and take us a picture or video to post here on the wall to show your support of our disabled and restricted. Let's show them that they're not alone, that we're thinking of them and that we love them.

For those of you who are struggling to get out or be included, please remember; we are here for you. We do think of you and we're working on it.

To get in touch just pop us an inbox or email us at
