My old friend Lawrence Hanney
has now moved on
the world is a little less wise now the great rock of his humanity largesse and kindness is sunk beneath the waters in the west.
One less firm and hospitable mooring post in a stormy world
one more face that I will laugh with tears in my eyes
to see again on the day those waters claim me also.

My condolences...

the songs of one's heart

Thanks Aphritha and Shadowcat,
you are both really kind people. There are those closer to him than I am who are hurting more, and I'm sure you'll join with me in wishing them the best. Such a good man, such a loss to the world. Thought a few folk on here might know him too, but apparently no.
Blessings,
S
