I am actually researching Norwegian hillforts at the moment, you can read about it on my blog if you are interested - http://ormegarden.blogspot.no/2015/01/h ... forts.html.
I've only written one introduction article in this series yet, but I have material for a lot more. I know that there has been an archeological finding of triskeles in a hillfort in Sweden (Øland) and wonder if there is a connection. Dr. Jan-Henrik Fallgren has a lecture on it on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8jr0dC3XgA
Now I think I will have to read up on the use of triskeles. If anyone can direct me to some interesting reading on it I would be happy. Maybe you have some information on it bolgios? In the meantime I'll try to do a google search
