When to use a signature designation of level?
Hi!
I just completed the Bardic course and have now started on the Ovate study. My question regards signatures here. I've included the Bardic Grade image, but when is it appropriate to include the Ovate one? Should I only place signature images for a completed grade? Thanks! - Elizabeth

I added each grade when I joined it.

Same here. I’m not as good as others about finding old threads and posting them, but I remember reading that you are that grade when you begin it. It is not the grade that is attained at the end, but the knowledge and wisdom of that journey.

Well done, way to stick to it! Include it please! The Forum allows you to include your working grade, that's like logic.

Excellent question, and excellent answers - means I can go and add the Bard thingy to my signature!
But a related question has been going round my head: what do you call yourself when talking about your spiritual path? Do you say "I'm a Druid" even though you are not at that level? Or can you use the word in that context to mean "I follow a druidic path"? The trouble is that Druid can have both a general and a specific meaning. Are we all Druids together? Or can only Druids claim to be Druids, if you know what I mean?

Correct, go ahead and wear that badge
You can call yourself a druid too. It's not just for the druid grade.

It very much depends on who I’m talking to. “Pagan” is good for the vast majority of those conversations. For conversations within pagan communities I go a
Little deeper depending on their knowledge and understanding. I’ll also often say “I’m a Druid grade member of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids”.
