Thanks, Nollaig, for posting this. With fracking surrrounded by so much controversy, it's important to get as much info as possible to be able to make a reasoned stand against an unnecessary and risky experiment. After all, if - and when, because no matter how fail-safe the system, someting always goes wrong sometime - an explosion occurs or the groundwater is polluted, the big boys will simply pack up and go elsewhere, leaving the community behind with an irreversible environmental mess.
